Driver arrested for 4th OWI

A driver was arrested for his fourth OWI during a traffic stop Monday afternoon.
An officer pulled the driver over on E. Main St. near S. Blount St. around 2:35 p.m.
The officer detected the odor of intoxicants and noticed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.
The driver performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.
David W. Kuchynka, 58, of Madison, was arrested for 4th-offense OWI, possession of open intoxicants, failure to install an ignition interlock device, operating with prohibited blood alcohol concentration and operating while revoked.
He was taken to the Dane County Jail.
