From 6:00am on September 15 to 6:00am on September 16, we received 497 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.
A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

- Other: 9
"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Tuesday, September 15:
Priority calls only from 3:45pm to 5:32pm due to calls for service.
Priority calls only from 11:35pm to 1:20am due to calls for service.
- 10:31am – East – Adult Arrested Person: DOC requested MPD respond to take a client (32-year-old male) of theirs into custody as they were no longer checking in with their probation/parole agent. The subject was contacted and placed into custody.
- 2:51pm – Midtown – Theft: Officers responded to a business for a retail theft complaint involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for retail theft and 2 outstanding warrants.
- 3:33pm – Central – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to the Beacon for two guests fighting at the end of the driveway. The subjects were not on scene when officers arrived, but the vehicle was located at James Madison Park. Contact was made with a 70-year-old male subject who resisted officers. The subject was arrested for resisting causing soft tissue injury (2 counts) and domestic disorderly conduct.
- 5:43pm – East – Traffic Arrest: A traffic stop was conducted. The driver (28-year-old female) had a warrant for their arrest. The driver was arrested/transported to jail.
- 9:38am – North – Check Person: Officers responded to a report of a subject causing themselves self-harm. The subject was contacted, taken into protective custody, and transported to a local hospital. The subject was left in the care of medical staff voluntarily. Officers disengaged.
- 9:56pm – South – Adult Arrested Person: Officers responded to a caller/subject (62-year-old male) who threatened to kill himself. The subject was contacted, found to be intoxicated, and placed into protective custody. The subject was transported to a local hospital. The subject threatened officers. Medical clearance obtained. The subject was arrested for threats to law enforcement and a probation hold.
- 11:04pm – North – Weapons Offense: Officers responded to a report of a shooting. A 21-year-old male subject and victim were reportedly arguing all day and agree to meet at a location to fight. When the victim arrived in the area in a vehicle the subject came from behind a tree and started shooting at the victim's vehicle. No injuries sustained. The subject fled the area on foot. Casings located/recovered. Attempts were made to contact the subject, without success. Probable cause developed to charge/arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
