Attending HR-OD Courses Notes

Outlook Calendar vs. Eventbrite Calendar Holds:

For all City of Madison courses which you register for through Eventbrite, we encourage you to create your own Outlook Calendar hold with the time and date information found on the event page(s). 

This is due to both limitations in Eventbrite (especially for series sessions), and IT policy blocks. 

It's an extra-step, but guarantees that you have the most accurate information as the course date(s) approach! 

Accessing Virtual Courses: 

Keep a look out for the meeting links for any of our courses in the 1-week, 2-hour, and 10-minute prior to course session emails sent from the Eventbrite platform. 

All courses are hosted either in City of Madison Zoom or Teams meetings links – so as long as you have the link, you shouldn't need to log into Eventbrite for access. 

Additionally, if you run into any issues, please reach out to HR-OD: OrganizationalDevelopment@cityofmadison.com and we can help get you in – as, we are always monitoring that inbox, especially the 15 minutes leading up to a session on our calendar.

Can't make it to a class anymore?

Please take action as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration so our facilitators can plan accordingly. If you’re unable to attend, please cancel your registration by following the steps on our Cancellation Policies page. Courses are designed with your participation in mind, and timely updates help us enhance the learning experience.
